Overview

When people think of pharmaceuticals, they tend to associate sterile images, dry facts and, of course, risks and side effects. The field offers the perfect breeding ground for storytelling, since it is always about one thing: human health. It would be hard to find a more emotional hook. We help healthcare companies find the right recipe for their story.

Campfire

As the sponsor of various senior centers in East Westphalia-Lippe, Arbeiterwohlfahrt OWL asked us to support the reopening of a senior center in Bielefeld with neighborhood communications and employer branding. With the help of our corporate campfire, we were able to find out from the employees themselves which values are lived out every day in the house and make AWO OWL special. Our employer branding strategy laid the foundation for the long-term storytelling and the communicative bracket of what makes AWO OWL special in care.

"In a one-day workshop with Mashup Communications, we learned about the storytelling approach and developed our own stories for our project. Nora and Louisa understood how to introduce us to the methodology in an interactive workshop with quite a few practical examples and then get us straight into doing. A very exciting day where we learned a lot. I would definitely recommend Mashup Communications to others!"

"Nora and her team have definitely sparked excitement for storytelling with data in our colleagues in Mannheim and Penzberg! After an introductory keynote had set the stage, a hands-on workshop followed, in which data experts from Roche learned how to improve their own (data) stories. Thanks a lot for two entertaining and insightful days!"

"Companies have great opportunities if they move into the new era of brand storytelling. To do this, we need to question classic marketing-speak across all communication areas. The Mashup Communications workshop not only taught our team methods and best practices. Above all, it whetted our appetite for storytelling and opened our eyes to where we want to go in new directions."

"In the pharmaceutical industry in particular, sensitive content and complex scientific data are often communicated, which must be presented in a way that is easy for laypeople to understand and safe. Storytelling is a good way of making the complex content comprehensible and interesting for the target groups. Ms. Feist explained to the seminar participants in an exciting way and at a high level how a good story can be developed and told."
